Funeral services are reserved for members of Renovation Church.
Generally, the church is available for a funeral service Monday - Thursday from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Suggested time frame:
Visitation from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Service from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Reception or Luncheon from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Yes, depending on their availability. If a Renovation Church pastor is not available, we will work to find another pastor who can officiate the service.
Pastors not affiliated with Renovation Church must be screened and approved in advance by a member of Renovation Church staff.
Renovation Church will provide the family with:
A 3-hour time slot to allow for a visitation prior to the service, the service in the Worship Center or the Harvest/Illuminate room, and a time after the service for a reception or luncheon gathering with family and friends.
Tables and chairs for a reception or luncheon.
Coffee, lemonade, and water
Easels for photo displays
Tablecloths for display tables
Flower stands
Printed programs (includes photos, service order, obituary, etc.) - optional, for a fee.
The Worship Center seats 800. Services of 60 or less in attendance may be held in the Harvest/Illuminate Room.
Base costs:
Facility fee: $250
Pastor Honorarium: $250
Funeral Care Coordinator:
$200 (funeral home involved) or
$275 (no funeral home involved)
Sound Technician: $200
Custodian: $100 (An additional $50 will be charged if luncheon set-up is required)
Optional costs:
Musician(s): $200 per person
Graphic Design:
Printed program and service slide layout: $50
Video Compilation: $200
If costs are prohibitive, please consult with the Funeral Care Coordinator.
Payment is due on or before the date of the service. Renovation Church will accept payment by check or card; cards are taken only on the day of the service.
Renovation Church does not have kitchen facilities, and therefore is unable to provide food. The family may choose to bring in store bought packaged snacks, cookies, cakes, bars, meat & cheese trays, buns, fruit trays, chips, etc. for a reception or luncheon. Paper plates, plastic ware, and napkins work best in this format and should be brought in by the family. It is recommended that the family designate a few individuals to help set out and clean up food items.
If the family would like to utilize food delivery or catering from local restaurants, please consult with the Funeral Care Coordinator. Vendors must be pre-approved.
No alcohol on the premises.
Smoking is allowed outside near the Office Entrance.
Only service animals are allowed in the building.
We are a latex-free facility - please no latex balloons in the building.
