DAVID SORN
LEAD PASTOR & BLAINE LOCATION PASTOR
David is a graduate of Bethel Seminary and founded Renovation Church in 2009. He not only leads our Blaine location, but he also leads the entire movement of Renovation Church.
He has been married to his wife Lindsey for over 20 years, and they are parents to Jeremiah, Liviana, and Lincoln. He loves running, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and reading! As a lover of books, Pastor David reads 30-40 books every year. ​Check out his recommended reading list below!
MATT MARTINEZ
SHOREVIEW LOCATION PASTOR
Matt is a seminary graduate who has served in ministry for over 15 years and has a passion for leading and pastoring. He carries a deep vision for the church: that people would find true stability in an unstable world by anchoring themselves in God’s Word, engaging in authentic community and discipleship, and helping people discover and follow the God who saves, heals, and transforms.
Matt and his wife, Ally, have two children, Lola and Luca. Matt loves telling and hearing stories, gathering with friends and family around a table, and watching or playing just about any sport. ​
NATE GUSTAFSON
LOCATION PASTOR FOR UPCOMING 3RD LOCATION
Nate is a graduate of Bethel Seminary and has served in pastoral ministry for over 24 years. He has a passion for discipling people as Jesus builds the church. He is continually in awe of how God is using Renovation Church to bring His hope to the world.
He has been married to his wife Kristin for over 20 years, and they are parents to Gary, Desmon, Nora, Eliza, and Colby, and grandparents to their beautiful granddaughter, Marlow. Nate loves playing games with friends and family, cheering on his kids in their passions, reading great books, listening to podcasts, and watching football.
